New Chapter!

I’m super excited to say I can finally share my latest chapter for Beta Academy, it has been on the backburner for a few millennia at this point, and I can’t tell you how many times I stopped and started and rewrote this chapter. Trying to thread a tonal needle of “this is a dystopia but everyone is doing their best” is difficult when you have a new character treated so inhumanely! But I digress. Enjoy the new chapter!

New Commission!

Building upon this roll, after our look at Alexandra, Gammatelier has graced us with another commission of Beta Academy, this time of Jessica 326 in the academy sleeping quarters, waking up in her box to the special vibrating alarm mounted down south. This is the first mental image of the Betas that ever came to me ~2018, crystal clear, and it originated the entire series and imaginary world! I’m very grateful to have it come to life in such a way!

Maybe taking a step away…

So you can plainly I have never posted too often here, mostly fits and spurts (heh), but I am making a concerted effort to stabilize and energize my SFW life, and I recognize that what scraps of creativity I find these days, I need to put toward artmaking IRL and other hobbies. That’s not to say I will never post again, you never know, but I can confidently commit to a sizable hiatus for the time being.

I’ll still be in the Discord, that community has been a remarkable support to me through the pandemic and massive transitions, but I’m not pretending to be a creator toiling away. I am super proud of the work done here, both in teaching myself to build another site ground-up and all the writing and art hosted here, (and hosting is cheap lol) so it won’t be going away as best I can help it.
